Fix: Mobile layout issues (what to try)
What you’ll learn
Quick fixes for common mobile issues in D2C Lab (layout looking broken, buttons misaligned, cards overflowing, text too big, or pages not updating correctly).
What this issue looks like
You might notice:
cards are cut off or overflow the screen
text is too large or wraps badly
buttons appear off-screen
scroll feels “stuck” inside a modal
a page looks different on mobile vs desktop
Kanban drag-and-drop feels difficult (or doesn’t work as expected)
Fix it fast (do these in order)
1) Refresh once
A simple refresh fixes most “stale layout” issues.
2) Rotate your phone (portrait ↔ landscape)
Sometimes the browser gets stuck with an old viewport width.
Fix:
rotate once to landscape
rotate back to portrait
refresh
3) Close extra tabs
Multiple open tabs can cause weird session and layout behavior.
Fix:
close all D2C Lab tabs
open one fresh tab
log in again
4) Check your browser zoom / text size
Mobile zoom or large text can break layouts.
iPhone (Safari):
Tap the aA icon in the address bar
Set Page Zoom to 100%
Android (Chrome):
Browser menu → Settings → Accessibility → Text scaling
If your phone has very large system text:
reduce text size slightly (temporarily) and re-check the layout.
5) Turn off Reader mode (if enabled)
Reader mode can remove styles and break layouts.
Fix:
disable Reader mode and refresh.
6) Clear site data (best fix if it keeps happening)
If layout is consistently broken on normal browsing but works sometimes, clear site data.
Safari (iPhone/iPad):
iPhone Settings → Safari
Advanced → Website Data
Search d2clab
Delete
Reopen Safari and log in again
Chrome (Android):
Chrome → Settings
Privacy and security → Clear browsing data
Clear Cookies and site data + Cached images/files
7) Try incognito/private window
If incognito works but normal doesn’t, it’s usually cache/session or a content blocker.
Fix:
clear site data
disable blockers (next step)
8) Disable content blockers / ad blockers (temporary test)
Some blockers interfere with layout scripts and modals.
Safari (iPhone):
Settings → Safari → Content Blockers (disable for testing)
Chrome (Android):
disable any ad blocker app or browser extension (if used)
Then refresh and test again.
Kanban note (mobile behavior)
Kanban is mobile-friendly for viewing and quick updates, but drag-and-drop can be harder on mobile depending on device/browser.
If you struggle to drag cards:
try on desktop for precise drag-and-drop
or try a different mobile browser
If drag is fully broken on mobile, report it (details below).
