Fix: Buttons/menus not clickable (Safari/Chrome quick fixes)
What you’ll learn
Quick fixes when buttons, dropdowns, menus, or modals don’t respond — especially on Safari (iPhone/Mac) and Chrome (Android/Desktop).
What this issue looks like
You might notice:
buttons don’t respond to taps/clicks
dropdowns don’t open
you can’t click inside a modal
the page scrolls but UI elements don’t work
clicks work in incognito but not normal mode
Fix it fast (do these in order)
1) Refresh once
This clears most temporary UI glitches.
2) Close extra D2C Lab tabs (very common cause)
Multiple open tabs can cause session conflicts.
Fix:
close all D2C Lab tabs
open one fresh tab
log in again
3) Try incognito/private mode
If everything works in incognito but not normal:
it’s usually cache/session or an extension.
Next step: clear site data (Step 4).
4) Clear site data for d2clab.co (best fix)
This removes stale cookies/session data that can break UI.
Safari (iPhone/iPad)
iPhone Settings → Safari
Advanced → Website Data
Search d2clab
Delete
Reopen Safari and log in again
Safari (Mac)
Safari → Settings (Preferences)
Privacy → Manage Website Data
Search d2clab
Remove
Relaunch Safari
Chrome / Edge (desktop)
Settings → Privacy & security
Cookies and other site data → See all site data and permissions
Search d2clab
Remove
Restart the browser
5) Disable ad blockers / content blockers (temporary test)
Blockers can prevent scripts from running, which makes buttons “dead”.
Safari (iPhone)
Settings → Safari → Content Blockers → disable for testing
Chrome (desktop)
disable extensions like AdBlock/uBlock/Privacy Badger for the site
Then refresh and test again.
6) Turn off “Prevent Cross‑Site Tracking” (Safari test)
Sometimes Safari privacy settings interfere with sessions.
iPhone Settings → Safari
temporarily disable Prevent Cross‑Site Tracking
refresh and test
After testing, you can turn it back on.
7) Check browser zoom / accessibility settings
If the page is zoomed or text is scaled heavily, overlays can misalign.
Safari (iPhone)
Tap aA → Page Zoom → set to 100%
Then refresh.
8) Try a different browser
Quick test:
iPhone: Safari ↔ Chrome
Android: Chrome ↔ Firefox
Desktop: Chrome ↔ Edge ↔ Safari
If it works in another browser, the issue is local (extensions/cache/settings).
Special case: “I can scroll but can’t click inside a modal”
This can happen if a background overlay is stuck.
Fix:
refresh once
close extra tabs
try incognito
if still stuck, clear site data (Step 4)
Quick checklist (30 seconds)
✅ Refresh once
✅ Close extra tabs
✅ Incognito test
✅ Clear site data for
d2clab.co✅ Disable ad blockers/content blockers
✅ Page zoom = 100%
✅ Try another browser
