Fix: Browser caching issues (incognito works but normal doesn’t)

What you’ll learn

Why D2C Lab may work in incognito/private mode but not in your normal browser, and the exact steps to fix it (cookies, cache, extensions, and session loops).

What this issue looks like

You might notice one of these:

  • Login works in incognito, but fails in your normal browser.

  • You keep getting redirected back to the login page.

  • You get stuck in a loop (login → payment page → login).

  • Pages don’t update (stale data) unless you use incognito.

Why this happens

Incognito/private windows start with a clean state:

  • no old cookies

  • no stale local storage

  • extensions often disabled

So if incognito works, the problem is almost always:

  • cached cookies/session data, or

  • a browser extension interfering.

Fix it fast (do these in order)

1) Close extra D2C Lab tabs (important)

If you have multiple D2C Lab tabs open, one can overwrite the other.

Fix:

  • Close all D2C Lab tabs (including any payment/checkout tab)

  • Keep only one fresh tab open

2) Hard refresh (desktop)

This forces the browser to reload the latest files.

  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R

  • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

Then try logging in again.

3) Clear site data for D2C Lab (best fix)

Clearing site data removes the stale session.

Chrome (desktop)

  1. Settings → Privacy & security

  2. Cookies and other site data → See all site data and permissions

  3. Search for d2clab

  4. Remove site data

  5. Restart the browser and log in again

Safari (iPhone/iPad)

  1. iPhone Settings app → Safari

  2. Advanced → Website Data

  3. Search d2clab

  4. Delete

  5. Reopen Safari and log in again

Safari (Mac)

  1. Safari → Settings (or Preferences)

  2. Privacy → Manage Website Data

  3. Search d2clab

  4. Remove

  5. Relaunch Safari and log in again

Edge (desktop)

  1. Settings → Cookies and site permissions

  2. Manage and delete cookies and site data

  3. See all cookies and site data

  4. Search d2clab → Remove

4) Disable extensions (especially ad blockers)

Some extensions can block scripts and break login or billing redirects.

Fix:

  • Disable ad blockers / privacy extensions for d2clab.co

  • Refresh and try again

Tip: If you’re not sure which extension is causing it, test by disabling all extensions temporarily.

5) Log out and log in again

If you can still access any part of the app:

  • log out

  • close the browser

  • reopen and log in again

6) Try a different browser

Quick test:

  • Chrome ↔ Safari ↔ Edge

If it works in another browser, the issue is local to the original browser (cache/extensions).

Quick checklist (30 seconds)

  • ✅ Close all D2C Lab tabs

  • ✅ Hard refresh

  • ✅ Clear site data for d2clab.co

  • ✅ Disable ad blockers/extensions

  • ✅ Try a different browser

If you’re stuck in a payment loop

If you already paid and it keeps sending you to checkout:

  1. Close all tabs (especially any checkout tab)

  2. Clear site data for d2clab.co

  3. Log in again using the same email that received the receipt

(See: Login issues after payment (common fixes))

If it still doesn’t work (report it)

Post this in:
feedback.d2clab.co → Bug Reports

Include:

  1. What happens (one sentence)

  2. Device + browser (example: iPhone / Safari)

  3. Whether incognito works (Yes/No)

  4. What you already tried (cache cleared? extensions off?)

  5. Screenshot or short screen recording if possible
