What is D2C Lab?
What you’ll learn
D2C Lab is a single workspace where you can take a product from raw idea → launched without juggling spreadsheets, notes, WhatsApp threads with suppliers, and scattered links.
What D2C Lab does
D2C Lab keeps your product idea, validation, profitability math, supplier decisions, and execution tracking tied together in one place—so you can move faster and avoid costly mistakes.
What you can do in D2C Lab
1) Capture product ideas
Save an idea quickly (manual entry or from a product URL), add an image, notes, and a selling price.
2) Validate ideas before spending money
Use structured checklists to kill weak ideas early and focus only on what has potential.
3) Model profitability (unit economics)
Calculate costs, fees, and net profit so you know the numbers before ordering samples or committing to inventory.
4) Manage suppliers in one place
Store supplier contacts, quotes, key terms (MOQ, lead time, incoterms), score suppliers, compare options, and pick a winner.
5) Track execution on a Kanban board
As soon as a supplier contact exists, the product flows through a clear pipeline:
Sourcing → Sampling → Negotiating → Production → QC → Shipping → Launched
How D2C Lab is organized
D2C Lab has five main sections:
Master List: Your command center for all ideas (stage, profit, supplier, last updated).
Validator: Checklist-based idea validation (kill/revive included).
Calculator: Unit economics calculator with a live breakdown and net profit sync to the Master List.
Suppliers: Mini CRM + scoring + compare + winner selection.
Kanban: Execution tracking across production stages with drag-and-drop updates.
Stages (one unified system)
D2C Lab uses one consistent set of stages across the app:
Raw, Validating, Calculating, Sourcing, Sampling, Negotiating, Production, QC, Shipping, Launch Ready, Launched, Killed.
Portfolios
Portfolios help you organize ideas by brand/project.
General is the default portfolio and can’t be deleted.
Filtering by portfolio applies across all tabs.
